Tom Weisgerber
Thirty-three-year-old Texas-style fiddle player Tom Weisgerber was influenced early on by Chris Daring, Dick and Lisa Barrett and later on by Wes Wesmoreland, Jimmie Don Bates and Matt Hartz. Tom has judged many nationally recognized contests including the National Fiddle Championships in Weiser, Idaho in 1991 and again in 1996, as well as Langly in 1989 and 1991. He is a seven-time Minnesota State Champion, the Halletsville Texas Fiddle Frolic’s Out-of-State champ of 2002 and consistently ranks in the top ten championship division at Nationals.
Tom has released two fiddle recordings in which he is featured as both the fiddler and the guitarist. Needless to say he is gifted on both instruments.

Evan Meeker
Evan Meeker grew up in Evergreen, Colorado where he began his study of Texas Style Fiddle. Soon after, he became a fixture in the contest and fiddle community in Colorado. He has won many contests and is a past Young Adult Champion at the Colorado Fiddle Championships. His early influence was Chris Daring as well as others. Now 25 years old Evan lives in Austin Texas where he continues to be active in fiddling as a contestant and judge. He considers his biggest influence in fiddling to be Jimmie Don Bates (Austin Texas) but has also gained inspiration from player’s like Tom Weisgerber and Wes Westmoreland to name a few. Evan very much looks forward to coming back to Colorado each year for what he refers to as “the most awesome contest” and to see his Colorado fiddle friends for the weekend.
